Putting in the Work
Over the past few years I've been investing more time than perhaps I ever have on self-growth, personal well-being - meditation, tai chi, stretching, juggling, handstands, and the like.
Recently (like last week) I realized I was putting in the work on myself but still clinging onto the old me - habits, patterns, thoughts.
So, I wasn't allowing myself to enjoy the returns on my investment.
After this thought hit me, I started to relax into my new self - habits, patterns, thoughts. My mind literally felt lighter.
A big step and such a relief.
