Philanthropy

nonprofit fundraising

Being the amazing nonprofit asker you are, you're an essential player in the business of philanthropy.

The term “philanthropy” is a combination of two ancient Greek words: “philos” meaning “love” in the sense of caring for, nourishing, developing and enhancing; and “anthropos” meaning “human being” in the sense of our common humanity.

Philanthropy then, is the love of humanity, in the sense of caring, nourishing, developing, and enhancing what it means to be human.

As an asker, you care for, nourish, develop, and enhance what it means to be human. You promote philanthropy when you connect the humanity inherent in your organization’s mission with your prospect’s humanity as well as propensity, affinity, and capacity to offer investment opportunities that nourish, develop, and enhance what it means to be human.

What an amazing business to be in!
