The Ask Not Made

Asks not made are asks unfunded. Every unfunded ask is a loss to your organization's ability to further its mission.

I get it. Sometimes asking can feel scary and stressful. But most times, if you've done your prep work, it becomes simply a matter of jumping in and just asking.

The worse thing that can happen is that you'll hear "no." The best thing you can hear is "yes." Most of the time, depending on timing and messaging, you'll probably end up somewhere in the middle with a "maybe."
