The Actor & The Asker: Similarity #9

acting for askers

Hi there. Ed Hohlbein here. Taking a bit of time today to bring you the 9th similarity between ACTORS and ASKERS.

An instinct is a natural or inherent aptitude, impulse, or capacity…a largely inheritable and unalterable tendency of an organism to make a complex and specific response to environmental stimuli without involving reason…behavior that is mediated by reactions below the conscious level.

Intuition is the ability to understand something immediately, w  ithout the need for conscious reasoning…a thing that one knows or considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning.

Instinct and intuition of course are inextricably linked and both are vital to successful ACTORS and ASKERS.

ASKERS, in the same manner ACTORS, must develop through consistent training and practice strong instincts and then trust those instincts completely. Keen instincts and a trust in intuition help you during prospect visits and other exchanges quickly identify and interpret nonverbal and other subtle communication cues, making it easier to adapt to change on the fly.

For ASKERS who want to strengthen instincts and intuition, do these 3 things:

1 – Stay Aware:  Attempt to consciously comprehend the things you do normally without thinking.

2 – Observe:  Watch people talk, share, work, play and like you did when you were a child practice by imitating.

3 – Practice:  When we attempt new skills – like living more intuitively – they will slowly but surely become a part of who we are and our way of living and working.

My advice for ASKERS today. Strengthen your sixth sense by leveraging your five conventional senses.

Stay tuned for the 10th similarity between ACTORS & ASKERS coming your way soon.

Thank you so much for watching and have a GREAT day.
