Adjust
Adjusting to changing given circumstances with a prospect is a must in nonprofit fundraising.
We often find ourselves adjusting to accommodate schedules, reframe perceptions, manage interpretations, handle emotions, and/or address objections just to name a few.
Making adjustments is not only common courtesy it's a show of respect, a persuasion technique, a way to demonstrate attentiveness, and so much more.
The ability and willingness to adjust is one of an asker's most valuable skills.
