Nonprofit Fundraising Data Challenges
When I work with nonprofit organizations of any type or size there is usually one of three challenges they need to address.
- Dirty Data
This impacts an organization's ability to get data out of the system efficiently because it is simply incorrect, living in the wrong field, or is duplicated data to name just a few. - Unfamiliar with System Functions or Features
This is a knowledge challenge usually due to a lack of system training. If you have clean data but no one on your team knows how to work with the data, your data management efforts come to a standstill. - Hybrid
A hybrid challenge presents when an organization is dealing with both dirty data and a lack of system knowledge. Hopefully this isn't you.
