A Day

just a thought

When used to describe a day, "good" and "bad" are at the very least useless and at most harmful to the way we experience that day. External as well as internal pressure, to think about our days in terms of "good" or "bad" is mentally taxing and unhealthy.

Some days feel shorter, easier while others feel longer, harder. We allow a day to be either "good" or "bad" by way of our interpretation of any given day's events.

The type of day you have is entirely dependent on curating the ideal ingredients, mixing them together in a way that creates a balanced blend that is uniquely you.

What are the ingredients that go into your well-balanced day?

  • Indoors
  • Outdoors
  • Rest
  • Exercise
  • Personal
  • Professional
  • Alone
  • Together
  • Fast
  • Slow
  • Quiet
  • Noisy

The perfect day and the horrible day are constructs of the mind. We are each in charge of creating the days that serve us best by curating and combining ingredients in a way that ensures balance. Unlike "good" or "bad," a balanced day is healthier, more useful and sustainable.
